Since, Eric has been performing throughout Western Canada as a sideman and leader. As a sideman Eric has performed or recorded with Depedro (backed by Calexico), Giant Sand (featuring Howe Gelb & Neko Case), the Abramson Singers, the Vancouver Legacy Jazz Orchestra, the Calgary Jazz Orchestra and Johnny Summers Little Big Band, as well as the Yardbird Suite Jazz Orchestra.
Eric Spent half a year down in Tucson at Wavelab Studios where he was mentored by Craig Schumacher and Chris Schultz spending 16 hour days in the studio assisting to engineer and mix in what was in 2007 an all analogue destination studio. He is now an avid home recordist and producer.
